Last week, we invited our employees’ children into the C-Aire Compressors facility to help spread the holiday spirit! Team members in the office participated by leading various activities throughout the day.
Jason Hedeen (CEO) and Carin Hedeen (President) started the day off with the kids by telling the story of Christmas. They explained the true meaning behind Christmas and engaged in a fun Q&A with the children.
Next, Travis Wieser (Marketing Manager) coordinated an arts and crafts session to have the kids make Merry Christmas signs. They used their creativity to color each letter, glue them on tagboard, and carefully cut them out. Then we put the signs up in the office and production facility.
Once the signs were done, Amanda Meyer (Warranty Specialist) led another arts and crafts session making paper snowflakes. The children enjoyed creating their own unique designs and placing the snowflakes around the office.
After creating the snowflakes, we provided lunch for the kids and the entire C-Aire team.
Following lunch, Andrew King (Inside Sales Coordinator) guided the baking session. The kids decorated sugar cookies with frosting and sprinkles for themselves and our employees. Then they made gingerbread houses to form a town on the C-Aire lobby desk. Andrew told them the story behind the candy cane during the session.
Lastly, Sue Skalicky (Operations Manager) helped the children create ornaments and decorations for the Christmas trees in the office and production area. The trees were made the day prior by Jessica Hoeft (Shipping & Receiving Coordinator) and Chris Melin (Inside Sales Coordinator). Sue also told the story behind the Christmas tree and Christmas gifts.
